Designs and configurations

We store the cabinet door designs and configurations you create and save in the app, along with the details attached to them such as dimensions, materials and finishes.

Payment information

When you make a payment through the app, your payment is processed by a third party payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our systems. We receive limited transaction information such as confirmation of payment, the amount and the date.

Usage and device information

We use analytics tools that collect information about how you use the app, such as the features you access, session activity, app version, device type and general technical data. Some of this information may be collected through cookies or similar technologies.

Communications

If you contact us through the app or by email, we keep a record of that correspondence.

03 How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you when you create an account, build and save designs, make a payment, or contact us. We also collect usage and device information automatically through the app and our analytics tools.

create and manage your account and verify your identity when you sign in;
provide the core function of the app, including saving and retrieving your designs;
process payments and provide receipts;
send you service messages, notifications and updates relating to your account, designs or orders;
respond to your enquiries and provide support;
understand how the app is used so we can improve it and fix faults;
prepare quotes or progress an enquiry into a project with Reading Furniture & Joinery; and
meet our legal and record keeping obligations.

Where we use your information for direct marketing, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by contacting us.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the app and our business, with:

Our app platform provider (Base44), which hosts the app and stores its data on our behalf as a service provider;
Our payment provider, which processes payments you make through the app;
Our analytics provider, which helps us understand and improve how the app is used;
Our email and notification provider, which delivers messages to you on our behalf;
Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where reasonably required; and
Government bodies or other parties where we are required or permitted to do so by law.

We require our service providers to handle your personal information consistently with this policy and the law.

Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
